ARE YOU interested in learning Woodturning as a new hobby?
Would you like to learn how to make new products, so you can sell them and make your hobby pay?
Would you like to brush up on a particular aspect of Woodturning such as spindle work, skew chisel sharpening, finishing, segmenting etc.
All courses are held at my home workshop, which is situated at Staverton near Trowbridge in Wiltshire, lots of parking. I can take two students at a time.
I have two variable speed graduate lathes, drill press, drum sander etc. Plus everything else you would ever need after years of collecting tools.
Ladies made very welcome.
The beauty of my courses are that you can come along to my fully equipped workshop, use all the gear, get covered in shavings and see if you actually like it, if not you have not wasted money on a lot of equipment you are not going to use but if you do like it you will be well prepared to move on to buying your own lathe etc.
Everything you make on the day you can keep.
My wife Mary makes fantastic scones, if not the best in England they are close and you can sample them with tea or coffee. Lunch is also provided.
I have done lots of these courses with dozens of students aged from eleven to eighty years old.
I have put some of their comments below so why not give me a try.
